RT or TR?

The RT / TR profession is still evolving, and there is still debate about the labeling and terminology to use. Neither term really existed formally prior to the 1950s, and really didn't solidify until the 1970s.

Some also argue there are different approached between the terms.

One approach is about facilitation techniques using guided and structured recreation to achieve therapeutic goals, while the other is about specific (often modified/adapted) program plans to achieve therapeutic goals that happen to use recreation as the modality for for intervention. 

With the RPG Research Project and the RPG Therapeutics LLC programs, I included research on both approaches.
