Any differences between different types or role-playing gaming? Tabletop, LARP, Computer, etc.

Do different role-playing game mediums have either different correlative data or causal results?

Do the demographics of LARPers, Tabletop RPGers, and Computer-based (solo, online, MUD, MUSH, and MMORPG) vary significantly when looking at correlative data? Is this causal or certain personality types drawn to the different RPG mediums?

Are there different causal effects? There is a fair amount of video game research being developed, and some of it seems significantly different from tabletop role-playing gamers. I haven't found much information on LARPers (yet), but the nature of it being more physical than either tabletop or video-game-based RPGs, and more competitive (generally) than tabletop RPGs, would seem to likely show some significant differences.

Correlative and experimental research should be performed to determine if any differentiation exists between participants of different role playing gaming forms such as classic paper and dice tabletop RPGs, compared to live action role playing games (LARP), or computer-based role playing games.
