Create Adventure Modules for Specific Client Needs, such as PTSD, Depression, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery, and others
Experiment with creating “adventure modules” specifically designed to address targeted population needs such as socialization issues between different groups.
After the specific variables are defined and able learned to be targeted and controlled, Adventure Modules could potentially be developed to target specific combinations of populations and needs, for example:
- Troubled teens (a program already under way in Israel)
- Elderly
- Deaf Community socialization
- Unipolar depression
- Bipolar
- PTSD
- Autism spectrum
- Aspergher's
- ADD/ADHD
- Alzheimer's
- Traumatic brain injury recovery
- Schizophrenia (2 studies have been performed with in-patient schizophrenics)
- Many other social, therapeutic, or educational needs.
Goals of the adventure design could be attempting to deliver measurable benefits over a typical 6-8 week course, comparable to some other treatment modalities, and in line with some insurance program coverage requirements.
