This classic Basic Dungeons & Dragons adventure is mostly appropriate for an ongoing campaign for new players, but generally works far better with a more experienced DM.

Recalled on the first night of printing and the 5k-10k copies destroyed, only a handful survived, but later WotC upon acquiring TSR, offered downloadable PDF, of this controversial version. This module was almost completely rewritten and much of the artwork replaced in the "Green Cover" version and credited to Tom Moldvay and Jean Wells (while the Orange Cover version was just Jean Wells).
